Bio
With more than 400 live performances on Nashville’s Lower Broadway, Jara Ward has built a reputation as a high-energy country artist known for powerful vocals and an engaging stage presence. Born in Southern California, raised in Montana, and now based in Nashville, she brings a blend of Western roots and modern country spirit to every performance.
For more than three years, Jara has performed full-time across Nashville, playing regularly at some of the city’s most recognized venues, including Jason Aldean’s Kitchen + Rooftop Bar, Luke’s 32 Bridge, Lainey Wilson’s Bell Bottoms Up, Miranda Lambert’s Casa Rosa, and Morgan Wallen’s This Bar.
Outside of Nashville, she has headlined ticketed shows throughout the Southeast, drawing strong crowds and earning repeat bookings. Whether performing original music or crowd-favorite country covers, Jara delivers a dynamic live show designed to keep audiences engaged from the first song to the last. Backed by a full band (4-5 piece), her sets are built for a party atmosphere with singalongs, dancing, and nonstop energy.
As a songwriter, Jara blends heartfelt storytelling with modern country grit. Songs like “Jesus and My Dad,” “WWJDD,” “Slow,” “Hell and a Half,” “My Little Girl’s Heart,” and “Mountain Man” showcase her ability to turn personal experiences into music that connects with audiences both on stage and beyond.
